Barber Family Dedicates Sefer Torah

This past Wednesday, Anash of Crown Heights celebrated the Siyum of a Sefer Torah written by Reb Avrohom Barber. The Torah was written L’Zecher Nishmas his father; Hakodosh R. Eliyahu ben R. Yakov Barber, his Mother M’ Itta bas R. Naftali Isser Halevi, and his brother R. Dov Ber ben R. Eliyahu Barber.
The last words of the Torah were written by Reb Avrohom at his home on Montgomery Street. The large crowd that assembled then danced with the Torah down Montgomery street to Kingston Ave and then on to its home at Empire Shtieble where Hakofos and a Seudas Mitzvah took place.
