Before you purchase any chomets from a Jewish store make sure that you know by whom he sold his chomets, otherwise you may not purchase any chomets from that store and you may not eat that chomets.
Unfortunately there are many who don’t sell their chomets properly and many Rabbis who are not experienced don’t know how how to properly sell the chomets which will be used after Pesach.
