Rabbi Menachem Ofen, a Shliach who is the head of ‘Ohr Lachayal’ and a volunteer in the ‘organization for the soldiers’ arranged unprecedented Purim celebrations on Israeli Defense Force bases.
This Purim Rabbi Ofen marked 11 years to his own miracle for being saved after being ambushed by Arab terrorists in Hebron.
Chasidic singer, Avi Piamenta joined together with volenteers danced, sang, ate and heard Megilla with the soldiers.

I had the honor of visiting an army base in Israel with Rabbi Ofen during the JLI Israel Tour in 2008. His organization put on a wonderful barbecue for the beautiful boys and girls of Tzahal, and we got to see first-hand the amazing work this man does. Kol ha-kavod, and may G-d watch over those who watch over Israel.
