Rare March Winter Mix Glazes New York

Snowflakes the size of fists and ice pellets covered Crown Heights in a rare late March winter mix which persisted for the last 24 hours. Our photographer took an early AM walk and brought you these photos!

There were no significant accumulations and weather.com estimated a total of 2.2 inches of snow fell. Resident will awake to fine the area lightly glazed.

I’m originally from New England, spent the last 30 years in the hot, dry desert of the southwest……I miss this weather!!!

you should know, in places in the southwest (IE: Oklahoma, New Mexico) get lots and lots of snow (Oklahoma got i think around 20 inches of snow one times, and a few years ago, New Mexico got two feet).
So where do you live? Texas? Arizona?
Anyways, these snow flakes look pretty regular to me, not the size of fists…
