Photos: Fathers Award Sons Their First Siddur

This Sunday, the 7th of Adar 2, the young talmidim of classes of Rabbis Yossi Goldstein and Mendy Barnett received their very own Siddur, and celebrated it with a grand Siddur Party.

Unique to this years event as the Father’s of each talmid presented the siddur to the child, with a personalized inscription. The Classes sang songs, Chazzered Tanya Ba’al Peh and gave the parents, and grandparent who attended much yiddeshe Nachas

Rabbi Meir Shimshoni, Principal, thanked the devoted rebbeim of the class, and wish the talmidim hatzlocha in their reading and davening. Rabbi Hershel Lustig spoke of the importance of davening and the direct line it give each child to Hashem

Rabbi Joseph Rosenfeld, Executive Director spoke of the beauty of the excitement the talmidim have for chassidishkeit, and Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Jacosbon encouraged the talmidim to daven, learn and grow to be true Chassidim.

Rabbis Sholom Rosenzweig and Rabbi Shmuel Benjiman classes will be having their siddur parties after Purim.

    What an amazing siddur party.I was amazed to see that every boy was given a chance to say a speech and that also fathers were given the chance to present their children with their siddurim and say over a personalized message to them. kol hakavod i am sure this experience will stay with them for life!
