YLP Bochurim Rewarded with a Trip of a Lifetime

The Bochurim of Lubavitch Yeshiva, Pretoria, recently got back from a four day trip to Zimbabwe. This once in a lifetime experience, was the reward for a very successful Yud Shvat Mivtzah.

In the weeks leading up to Yud Shvat the Bochurim prepared by excelling in the Yeshivah Seder and completing the mamar of basi legani bal peh.

The Bochrim flew to Zimbabwe where they stayed in a luxurious resort, and went on a number of trips including white water rafting, elephant riding, bungee jumping, sunset cruise and viewing one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the awesome Victoria Falls.

This is not the first time that the Yeshiva has rewarded their Bochurim for their accomplishments. The unique approach of Rabbi Schurder is to give the Bochurim a high quality Yeshiva environment while motivating them with a healthy dosage of trips and fun, thus enabling them to achieve the maximum in spiritual and physical growth.

Besides the regular Yeshiva Seder, the Bochrim are working on several projects, including the completion of a mesechta and learning how to lein Megillah.

Thanks to Shliach Shmuly Goldman for organizing and participating in the trip.
