Yud Tes Kislev Comes Alive in Beis Rivkah

Yud Tes Kislev came alive for the young students in Beis Rivkas Headstart and Early Headstart! The teachers together with students reenacted the story of arrest and release of the Alter Rebbe by making props, dressing up, and acting.

The kinderlach in Beis Rivkah live with the Chassidishe Yomim Tovim and learn the stories and Middos Tovos of the Rebeim. In Beis Rivkah, the stories aren’t just taught, they are lived!

Morah Chaya Mushka Schapiro engaged all the children by reenacting the Stories of the Alter Rebbe on his way to jail, when he was in jail, and how The Chasidim danced in joy when the Alter Rebbe was freed from jail.

The children dressed up as wagon drivers, the Alter Rebbe, the captain of the ship, the prison Guards, and acted out each story with movable props, costumes, black wagon, and the boat.

The children engaged in experiences that made them feel the true joy of Yud Tes Kislev.
