Kaparos is a great solution. It reduces the carbon foot print: The chickens eat old waste chalah (guy in BP) and there is far less trucking becuse the chicken is eaten on sight!
If we allow the chickens to rome the streets they will eat the street gabage keeping it clean and provide a great source for free range chickens.
