Photos: Tank Parade in Toronto!

TORONTO [CHI] — A Mitzvah Tank parade took to the streets on Thursday in Toronto, Ontario. The 5 mobile homes were dedicated to the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson whose 108th birthday was on the 11th of Nissan. Arranged by Toronto Bochurim.

The parade traveled through the entire Downtown Toronto Area, Following the parade the Tanks parted ways and spread throughout the city to hand out Shmurah Matzah, and perform the Mitzvah of Teffilen with all Jews regardless of affiliation. The Tanks were also well stocked with the innovative Pesach guides “Experience Passover”.

In an effort to promote Pesach even more, each Tankist was outfitted with a beautiful shirt with the caption “Got Matzah? – Happy Passover”. This new twist to Mivtzah Matzah brought smiles to all the passerby, who gladly accepted the Matzah packages and many of whom put on Tefillin.

    The greatest yasher koach goes to Hatomim Mendy Goldberg with the help of his wonderful brothers Dovid and Shimon. They get full credit for the initiative ,the fundraising, and the hard work! They put hours and hours into this project and were mezake hundreds and hundreds of yidden with Shmura Matza,Neshek,Tefillin, and info about Pesach.You gave the Rebbe alot of Nachas and the Toronto community is very proud of you all!Keep up the great work and good luck in all your endeavours!
