Photos: Chabad at the Beaches Celebrates Torah Dedication!
This past Sunday, March 7th 2010, the 21st Adar 5770 there was Torah Dedication Ceremony at Chabad @ the Beaches. Shluchim Rabbi Nochum Kurinsky and Eli Wilansky arranged and organized the event.
The Sefer Torah was Dedicated in Loving Memory of Stephen H. Broudy, who was a close friend to Chabad and the Rabbi.
Community members who helped purchase the Torah were awarded. They all received a plaque with a picture of the Rebbe at the Siyum of the Moshiach Sefer Torah.
The event got a lot local media coverage, 2 TV stations and many newspapers reported on the dedication.
