Oholei Torah’s eighth grade went to Washington DC for their graduation trip. They visited the White House, the US Mint, the Holocaust Museum and saw many other landmarks.

    a place like the white house, lubavitcher bochurim , am i the only one that thinks the bochurim should tuck themselves in and look like mentchen, i mean cmon, there not wearing tshirts, it white shirts jackets, hats, and it looks very “shlumazelzich” with an untucked white shirts, why dont hanahala and schools enforce our children to appear as mention to the outside world!

    first of all u chasidish crownhightsers being tuck in its very hot and in sure that theas bachurim were makeing a kiddush hashem puting on tifilin and just making i look like there yiddin and there not inbarised is good enogh and about the flag the rebbe says that where ever you go u should enfosize moshiach and u say thats a cillul lubavich chutzpa how dare u say that there doing what the rebbe wants sheesh……moshiach now

    since when does being a mentch and making a kidush hashem have to be COMFORTABLE!
    A Talmid Chocham ie. a bohur in yeshivah is on display….
    to look like a shlumazel and a nudnik is not a kidush hashem in any way ‘lehepech’ in addition it can in now be interepreted as something CHASIDISH.
    I think yeshivas need to enforce that , and teach the bochurim the mentchlechkeit dress, manners, speech, etc.. comes before (hakdamah) chasidishkeit!

    These bochrim definitely made a Kiddush Hashem.
    They are proud of being Jewish and are all Shluchim of the Rebbe on their trip.
    They did a super job representing Lubavitch.
    And so what if they have a Moshiach Flag.
    It is their democratic right.
    And BTW to all of you selfrightous people out there, one should hope that all we have to worry about in Lubavitch is tucked or untucked!!!!

    Seriously what’s with the flag?! Such a nice trip, well behaved, smiling chasideshe boys. Then the flag comes out. Do these people realize they ruin the positive image Lubavitch could and would be giving the world. specifically DC, with their displays of stupid, unneccesary fanaticism?

    Okay, fine, you’re passionate. It’s been years and years and you’re still mourning. The rest of the Jewish world sees this and calls us crazy heretics. “The closest thing to Judasim”. In light of that, is it too much to ask for a little subtlety in our nations’ capital?
