Photo Gallery: Crown Heights Welcomes New Torah

CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — Sunday afternoon, Reb Michoel’s Minyan hosted a Siyum Sefer Torah honoring the life and legacy of Rabbi Michoel Tietelbaum OBM. The writing of the last letters began at Oholei Torah Mesivta, followed by the traditional procession which proceed up Troy Ave onto Crown St where the talmidim of Lubavitcher Yeshiva and Darcha Menachem joined the tahalucha. The parade then proceeded to Kingston Ave to the front of 770, where Hakofos took place.

    The Bal Sem Tov once told the people in Mesabiz to wright a Safer Torah and say Tihilim in order to stop an apidemic. Maybe this will stop the Swine Flue which has hit Oholai Torah in large numbers. Thanks Rabbi Karp.
