Excelling Students of Darchai Menachem go Skiing!

DELAWARE, PA [CHI] — Students of Darchai Menachem who excelled in school and accumulated the right amount of ‘points’ over the last 12 weeks, were all rewarded with a full day trip up to the Shawnee Mountain, a ski resort that’s a two hour drive from Brooklyn, where the students took skiing lessons and spent a day on the ski slopes.

The point system is a multi track way to monitor a childes behavior and academic achievements, which enables the school to give parents a detailed weekly report of every aspect of the kid’s time in school.

    Beautiful pics and great idea for a fantastic rewardin Ski Trip. Looks like the boys arent the only ones who worked hard in order to deserve and participate in the outing.

    Kudos to all the wonderful staff @ YDM who put in numerous hours of dedication to making it all happen!

    this school is killing these kids.
    I know a kid that went to this Yeshivah and when at this school he was told how great he was and in truth he was way behind and they never challenged him to push himself to learn it was always fun and games no real learning there was never any expectations from this child he didn’t learn a word all year just got a fully inflated false scene of accomplishment. which will fade very quick once he realizes that he was fed lies and he can’t compete in the real world

    Your devotion and dedication goes above and beyond in every way. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the boys, while in Yeshiva (never mind on the slopes!), says it all!
