Look how happy the faces are on ALL the people. Look how gently I am being held. PETA … I wish your parents brought you up with the same respect for ALL Life!

You see, for me… I am proud to nourish these happy people who do so much good for the world. Please go save my friends in dog pounds, or those being hurt in bull fighting, but please let me die for a good cause!

I know all Animal lovers are Pro Choice, can’t I have my Choice and give my life for good people?

Chaya – I am so sorry you feel that way. You should probably do a little more research into how things work, and not be brainwashed.

    Sincerely,
    your sister.

Why should we be ashamed of SHECHTING (big difference between killing) chickens???
We should be proud to be doing the Mitzvos!! Its what Hashem commanded us!

Im a Jew and im proud…

yes i commend the photographer i noticed these photos as well we all die for some reason chickens for the sanctification of hashems name soo do we die sometimes for the sanctification of hashems name and feed poor people

  • Chaya you need to learn some Judaism

um Chaya-why do u think the chicken was created? so that we can elevate it. We can’t make a bracha when its alive-we can’t eat live chickens-thats a huge laav in the torah. So we shecht them, check if they are kosher and if they are we cook them for our yom tov meal and make a big loud bracha on them. Every time we say a brracha on a chicken and eat it lishem so that we can be strong (venishmartem meod linafshoseichem) we are fulfilling a mitzva and we are letting the chicken fulfill its purpose. If we don’t help the chicken fulfill its purpose it will come to G-d with a complaint about us-that why didnt that Jewish girl make a bracha on me and chas vishalom we can suffer the consequences. this is no joke. hashem runs this world in a just and timely fashion. the animals are here for us to eat, therby nurishing ourselves and elevating it. (If we keep all animals alive who will run the world? Animals-i don’t think they will succeed. It’s the humans that hashem gave the special seichel to)
P.S. and just as a side fact-my father is a shochet. i see first hand how sharp the chicken knife is. the second the shochet makes the one cut across the main artery in the neck the chicken is dead, its jumping around is only a nerve-it is NOT alive. I see my father sometimes sharpen one knife for FOUR hours because he is unhappy with it (it isnt sharp enough or has a nick etc.) i know how sharp that knife is because all i have to do is look at all the cuts my father gets on his hands from sharpening the knife. So Chaya-instead of saying you are ashamed to be a Jew you should be proud-look at this amazing world hashem has created, everything and everyone has a purpose and all the pieces fit the puzzle so the world can run normally.
