Photo Gallery: A Center of Chesed!

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Hundreds of Crown Heightsers dropped in to the new “Chesed Center” which is operated by Ahavas Chesed, to say Lechaim and congratulate Rabbi Avrohom Leider on the new accomplishment. As its name suggests, the new center will be a place for people who r’l need medical help to drop in a receive it.

Also included is a Kosher Soup Kitchen in memory of Chana Preiva Goldstein OBM which is sponser by her son Reb Menachem Mendel Goldstein.

Taking advantage of the grand opening Rabbi Leider brought down New York Methodists and gave people the opportunity to donate blood, only to be surprisingly overwhelmed by the amount of donors, receiving well over 200 units!

    Woah! Avremel S, when did u get soooooooo white??? Avremel Lieder, I remember when I was in Seminary, you needed a volunteer to sleep in a hospital overnight with a very sick little boy. You arranged to have me driven to some place in New Jersey, I stayed the night, and then you arranged for me to be at work the next morning in Queens. May Hashem give you the koach in the upcoming year to continue to do the wonderful things you do,, And may you have a year of hatzlocha, and Nachas from your kids together with Temmie.
