More Snow, Freezing Tempatures Heading To NYC This Weekend
Get ready for more freezing weather conditions and more snow in the New York area this weekend.
Friday’s high will reach 31 but some snow is expected to arrive overnight, according to the National Weather Service. The snow will likely be from 1 a.m. to 4 a.m., and less than an inch of accumulation is expected.
A fast-moving clipper system will move toward the region today as low pressure will pass to the east of the area later this evening. We can expect sunshine early followed by increasing clouds with snow showers developing toward evening. There is a chance of an isolated snow squall as this system moves through. The high will be 32 in the city, low to mid 30s in the suburbs.
