Revel Ends Electric Rideshare Service in NYC
Revel, known by its bright blue cars, will end its rideshare service in New York City, the company announced Monday.
Revel’s all-electric rideshare service started in New York City four years ago. Drivers only used Teslas and Kia Niros wrapped in a bright blue decal to pick up riders on demand.
Now, Revel will focus on its electric vehicle charging stations, according to the company. Charging stations already exist across New York City and in San Francisco, and more stations will be built in Los Angeles.
