MTA Unveils New Subway Map for First Time in 50 Years
Riders demanded customer service and information from the MTA, and now they’ll notice some new designs and approaches.
A new subway map started appearing on digital screens around the system in the Fall. The MTA says the new map design is easier to read at a glance.
The change marks the first in 50 years for the subway map. The agency has also increased updates to real-time train information.
