New Congressional District Map Creates A Mega Jewish District, Includes Crown Heights
by CrownHeights.info
It was an expected shock for many politicians across New York State, as the Special Master released the new lines drawn for congressional districts for New York. For the Jews of Brooklyn, the biggest shock was District #9, a Mega Jewish district which includes Crown Heights.
“Wow! Ended Shabbos to find that 95% of Boro Park, Flatbush & Crown Heights Orthodox Jews are now combined into ONE congressional district #NY9 as per @KalmanYeger & @SEichenstein request this week of the judge & expert who drafted new lines,” said former New York City Council Chair David G. Greenfield.
With the previously drawn maps by the Democrats in Albany tossed by a Judge over gerrymandering, the new lines bring an entire new arena to the political fighting which will shape the states political future.
A historically democratic state, the new lines bring as many as nine new battlegrounds where Republican candidates now stand a chance at being elected.
While some call the new maps a G-d send, others claim that the hyper-condensing of the Jewish vote would simply reduce the number of districts that the larger Jewish communities could effect. Either way, the move is historic.
Since the maps have been officially released a flurry of political announcements have followed as Congressman, Assembly members, and political contenders have announced their candidacies, while others suddenly found themselves cut out of the race.

Let’s hope this will ACTUALLY be good for the Rebbe’s shechuna.
The democratic politicians who now serve BP & Flatbush don’t have the guts to stand up to the left & the SQUAD.
There is now a bill against yeshiva education that need 180,000 signatures. with all the yeshivos in BP & Flatbush. It is shameful that there are less then 100,000 signatures.
We must rally behind a republican candidate.

there is A שיחה in the early years, the Rebbe says that gerrymandering is היפך הצדק היושר and it was happening in the Frierdike Rebbes Shchunah and the עסקנים said there is nothing to do. so the Rebbe from up there got it going through the court system.
if anyone knows where this Sicha is please let us know!
