New York City residents may again get the boot, as the city resumes booting vehicles with more than $350 in unpaid fines.

“On February 22, 2021, the Department of Finance plans to resume booting only vehicles that have $350 or more in camera violation judgment debt,” the cities website said.

When a vehicle is booted, a device is attached to a wheel of the vehicle to prevent it from moving.

The department had suspended the program on March 17th of last year due to COVID-19.
