Outdoor Dining Suspended Starting Wednesday Due to Impending Storm

Restaurants in New York City have been notified that they will be required to shut down outdoor dining as of 2:00pm on Wednesday due to dangerous conditions caused by the impending storm.

The suspension of outdoor dining is expected to last through Thursday evening or Friday morning.

The storm is forecast to dump more than eight inches of snow on New York City beginning Wednesday afternoon and continuing through Thursday afternoon.

The city has already suspended alternate side parking and garbage collection as the cities Sanitation Departments ratchets up for snow removal.
