Cash Rains Down On Firefighters Battling Brooklyn Blaze
by CrownHeights.info
This brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “cashing out” on an insurance policy.
A group of firefighters battling a blaze in the Flatlands area of Brooklyn found that it was raining money, almost $1 Million’s worth, after they cut through a ceiling to get to a fire.
“It was buried treasure basically,” a firefighter was reported as having said. “It just kept falling out.”
According to the report, bundles of brand new one hundred-dollar bills were wrapped in plastic bags and tinfoil, allegedly from a family members insurance policy.
The NYPD took custody of the money, and were reportedly confirming it’s ownership.
