Brooklyn, NY — Residents of a quiet Brooklyn block were up in arms yesterday after a cop plastered their cars with nine parking tickets in five minutes.

A quick-handed officer from the 70th Precinct unleashed his ticket-writing fury between 8:10 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Saturday on East 23rd Street between Farragut Road and Foster Avenue in Flatbush.

All the parking citations claimed that motorists were in violation of Code 74, improper display of license plates. The nine cars all had car-dealership license-plate holders, but the holders didn't appear to obscure the numbers on inspection by a Post reporter.

The nine cars all had car-dealership license-plate holders, but the holders didn’t appear to obscure the numbers on inspection by a Post reporter.

“I’ve had this car for 10 years and I drive all over the city, and last night I get this nonsense!” said John Anderson, 61, a law clerk in Brooklyn Civil Court and the unhappy owner of a 1999 Mercedes.

“It was March 31 and maybe the cop is making his monthly quota on the last day of the month. This looks like a block that looks like people might have money, so they blitzed it with nine tickets in five minutes, all for the same charge. It’s silly, but it’s still $65 each!”

The ticket-happy cop could be identified only as having the first name Ralph and a last name starting with “C,” from his sloppy signature.

An NYPD spokeswoman confirmed that tickets had been written and said citizens could pay up or appeal. “If those people feel the summonses were in error, they should contest it with [the] Parking Violations [Bureau],” said Sgt. Gerry Falcon.
