NYPD Officer Shot in the Head Dies
NYPD officer Brian Moore, 25, who was in a coma since he was shot in the head two days ago while on duty in an unmarked car in Queens, died this afternoon after succumbing to his injuries.
The man suspected of shooting him, Demetrius Blackwell, was ordered held without bail Sunday after appearing in Queens Criminal Court.
He did not enter a plea to charges of attempted murder.
