Al-Qaida Had Sights Set on Brooklyn Bridge

Al-Qaida had the Brooklyn Bridge in its sights after the September 11th attacks, according to classified military files published by several newspapers including the New York Times.

The documents show terrorists had plans to cut the cables that support the suspension bridge, as well as hijack cargo planes, hack into bank computers and smuggle explosives in clothing shipments.
