Blessed are You, G-d, our Lord, King of the Universe, Who did a miracle for me in this place.
Chai Elul
It would be very appropriate to have those two big lights on this year. Chai Elus (approximately), as it is the birthday of Shnei Hameoros Hagedolos.

Lieutenant Colonel Art Zeidman
On September 11, 2001, Rabbi Yaacov Goldstein, a national guard colonel/chaplain, a Chabadnik from CH, ran to Ground Zero and stayed for months, helping rescue and recovery; attending to the material and spiritual needs of all of the heroes who worked the site. He later fearlessly accompanied our troops to the war zones in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is appriate on Chai Elul to salute our Jewish heroes like Colonel Goldstein who carry the Rebbe’s shlichus to the battlefields with real miseres nefesh. Yasher koach!

rivka
It’s a shame the day of 9-11 was not discussed in our CH schools. My son’s yeshiva made no mention. My daughters’ school simply said there used to be two towers. This is part of current history and should be at least mentioned.
trouble
I agree with rivka. This is part of important part ofcurrent history and should be mentioned a part of our education.

i agree with you, my children too, they dont evan know the whole story of 9/11, they just know the basics, and i think schhools should talk to the students and teech them and let them know what really happened on 9/11
