WIVB — Democrat Andrew Cuomo follows in his father’s footsteps, straight to the governor’s mansion. The Associated Press declared Andrew Cuomo the winner, dashing Carl Paladino’s dreams just seconds after polls closed at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Amid victory cheers from supporters, Andrew Cuomo said he knows the anger directed by New Yorkers toward their government in Albany.
New York Governor-Elect Andrew Cuomo said, “And what they are saying today is that they want reform, and they want that government in Albany changed, and that’s what they’re going to get.”
