City Moves Ahead With Expanded Smoking Ban
NEW YORK [NY1] — After considering the issue for months, Mayor Michael Bloomberg today is expected to announce the expansion of the city’s Smoke Free Air Act.
The legislation will snuff out smoking at city beaches and parks.
The city has 14 miles of beaches and about 1,700 parks, playgrounds, and recreation facilities.
Bloomberg sparked controversy when he successfully lobbied the City Council in 2003 to ban smoking in bars in restaurants, but the measure has since gained widespread acceptance.

This is the second part to control in NYC (and America). First Mike started with gun control laws which disable you from taking your life into your own hands. Now he is disabling you from smoking in parks and beaches, then it will continue on to restaurants and your offices, etc.
Then he will start with what car you drive, either a ‘hybrid’ or some other, in the name of ‘saving the planet’ then he will continue on to all sorts of stuff, to make something ‘better’.
Obama is doing the same thing… Slowly, bit by bit, we are being fed, until Obama, Mike and all the other controllers dictate ever move we make.
If we don’t wake up now, your freedom is gonna be grilled by some dictators.
Anyways, I don’t even know why Mike Bloomberg is doing this… Makes no sense. :)

Smoking takes between 15-20 years from your life!! Do you want your grandchildren to call you Zaidy, Zol Zein Geunt, or Zeide, Alav HaShalom???????????

#1 this is your answer to why Bloomberg is making these laws
TO #2 for your information the american bochurim also smoke terribly no need to pin it on israelis

Also have you ever heard of second hand smoke? That can also be a killer, r”l.
Btw, before thinking NYC is controlling everything look at other areas. California was doing this kind of thing long long ago. And it makes sense. Smoking doesn’t just effect the smoker but also effect anyone who is near him while he’s smoking.

OK, Americans, Israelis, Frenchies, whatever..it’s a totally disgusting habit that offends the people who have to breathe that awful tar and nicotine fumes that are nearby…
