Affects of these high winds spread across Brooklyn, in Flatbush six stories of scaffolding collapsed on East 12th Street and Avenue O causing severe damage to many parked cars, thankfully sparing pedestrians. In Sun Set Park a massive tree came crashing down on a house and parked cars, while a few blocks away a house under renovation had its entire exterior wall come crumbling down. While in the Bronx electric wires came down causing large power outages in the area.

The extreme winds combined with the arctic cold front brought real feel temperatures down to under -5 Fahrenheit. In all the incidents across the city there were no reported injuries thank g-d.

Power lines on fire.
