Does that apply even on Kingston Ave., Which the day off was switched years ago from Shabbos to Sunday?

    sr41:

I dont think that is true. You are allowed to park on Kingston Ave. over shabbos and you had to feed the meters on Sunday, I dont know what you are talking about.

sorry, I meant from Sunday to Shabbos; that Shabbos you would not have to pay and sunday you would.

and dont get so excited the City Council is considering putting the meters back into effect after recieving so many complaints from worshipers not being able to find parking near church. And also because of an overflow of double-parked cars throughout the city this past Sunday, particularly in shopping areas which usualy have metered parking.

Yes the original article and the newscast said that the Mayor is opposing this decision for exactly these reasons, parking longer then 1 hour and making it very inconvenient to shop.

I personally think that the meters should be in affect on Sundays just for those reasons. What do you all think?
