BDE: HaRav Dr. Meilech Leib DuBrow, OBM

With great sadness we report the passing of HaRav Dr. Meilech Leib DuBrow OBM, a nationally recognized educator, author, and public speaker on Chabad Chassidus, Jewish Health, and Kabbalah.

Meilech, who became observant during his years in college, asked the Rebbe about marrying someone whom he had known during his student years. In an unusually long audience in 1971, he received the answer to his question, as well as advice on the basics of a Jewish marriage.

Since then Rabbi Meilech Leib DuBrow has founded the Five Gates Society, and authored several books including “Jewish Healing for Body & Soul”, “Jewish Healing Practices: The List”. and “350 Healing Light Meditations: Daily Wisdom From Kabbalah”. He also ran an active healing practice in Los Angeles, California.

He is survived by his wife Yehudis (Helena), and his children Shoshanah, Ramy, Chaya Sarah, and Boruch Noam.

The Levaya will take place today, Thursday, approximately 4:00pm, at Mt Olive Chabad Cemetery 7231 E Slauson Ave Commerce 90040.
