BDE: Rabbi Pinchus “Pinye” Korf, 86, OBM
With great sadness we report the passing of Rabbi Pinchus Korf OBM, a renowned Mashpia and distinguished Chossid who touched the lives of thousands of his students. He passed away on Wednesday, the 20th of Tammuz, 5781.
He was 86 years old.
Rabbi Pinchus Korf, known commonly by his name Pinye was an extraordinary chossid who exemplified how a chossid is supposed to act. A mashpia for over 40 years, Pinye taught by example, leading his thousands of students in the way of Torah and Chassidus.
He is survived by his wife and children, many of whom are shluchim across the world.
The Levaya will take place today, Wednesday beginning at Shomrei Hadas at approximately 2:00pm, and passing 770 at approximately 3:00pm.
