Religious leaders and community leaders along with residents and Police Officers are expected to attend the vigil that will be held in front of the 71st Precinct on New York Ave and Empire Blvd. The public is invited to attend.
Prayer Vigil to be held for Injured Cop
Crown Heights, Brooklyn — At 5:00pm today a prayer vigil will be held in front of the 71st Precinct for Officer Russell Timoshenko who was shot twice in the head and neck early Monday morning while performing a traffic stop along with his partner Officer Herman Yan.

I commend the CHJCC and Moshe Rubashkin for this wonderful demonstration of support. But please do a better job advertising such events.
An overnight advance postering or a sound car would have provided much greater participation.
