I would like to add that for many years Rabbi Flint gave over the Shabbos farbrengen in English at our shul, Khal Chasidim. He will be terribly missed by the Khal Chasidim mispalilim. I had the good fortune of getting to know Reb Avraham over these past few years. He was a talmid chachom of the first order. I especially looked forward to speaking with him following maariv on Friday nights. With the shul mostly empty, he would share with me and the few others still there his thoughts on recent developments in the community and the country as a whole. In addition to being very learned in Torah, he had his finger on the pulse of the world.
Reb Avraham! To quote the last perek of Mishna Shabbos: “Mi Shehechshich Baderech.” The world is indeed dark without you! You have left us all too soon!
