Boruch Dayan Hoemes: Reb Michoel Negin, 80, OBM

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Reb Michoel Negin, OBM, a veteran and active member of the Lubavitch community in Stamford Hill, London. He was 80 years old.

He is survived by his wife, six sons: Yossi, Dov, Nosson, Boruch, Zalman and Dovid; and three daughters: Channah, Devorah Leah Malka and Nechama Dina.

The levaya took place this morning in London.

Shiva will take place at 15 Portland Avenue, London, N16, until Tuesday morning (Excluding Purim).

    He worked as a mashgiach for the london beis din….one shabbos after marriv he stood on the bima and made a statement…..kellogs corn flakes are kosher, and sat down……..a true mentch and boruch dayan haemes

    The Rebbe once paid a visit to a shiva and mentioned that by chassidim we know that the person moved up, and it’s exactly like going from the bayis to the alya (the ground floor to the top floor). The person is there but has just gone up a level, a great level. May the family be comforted. He was special beyond words. He was one person who kept true Torah values in this world and instilled
    them in his children. May his memory be for a blessing.
