Boruch Dayan Ha’emes: R’ Aharon M. Zilbershrom OBM

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Zilbershrom, OBM, of Jerusalem, at the age of 89.

Born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1923, Rabbi Zilbershtrom joined a group of Lubavitcher Bochurim hiding from the Nazis in the forests of France during World War 2. He was a dedicated Chossid of the Rebbe, and the Rebbe referred to him as “the ultimate Yerei Shomayim.”

He is survived by his wife, Miriam, and seven children: Mrs. Esther Shochet (Toronto), R’ Binyomin Nochum (Jerusalem), R’ Tuvia (Jerusalem), R’ Yosef Yizchok (Lod), R’ Chanoch Henoch (Kfar Chabad), R’ Dovid (Kfar Chabad) and Mrs. Chana Ginsberg (Haifa).
