Boruch Dayan Ha’emes: Mendel Oberlander, OBM

With great sadness we inform you of the untimely passing of Hatomim Menachem Mendel Oberlander, 20, after a prolonged illness. His parents, Rabbi Rabbi Boruch and Batsheva Oberlander, head Shluchim to Hungary, will be sitting Shiva in their home in Budapest.

    Mendel is such a sweet young man. Nebach he dealt with his illness for years. I always thought and prayed that he’d recover. Even when he should have been thinking about himself he always made sure to help other. He’s done mivtzoim in situation that are much more shocking than anything on this site. Gan Eden is lighting up with his arrival. He’ll be missed greatly and I wish I could describe the sadness of a young man passing with a lifelong illness. He should have lichtichin Gan Eden and demand on high that moshiach come now.
