With sadness we inform you of the sudden and untimely passing of Mrs. Shaindel Lieberman, OBM, of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Updated Levaya times added. Update: Levaya information added.

With sadness we inform you of the sudden and untimely passing of Mrs. Sheina Chaya Lieberman, OBM, of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Mrs. Lieberman was the wife of Rabbi Aharon Yitzchok Lieberman, the head Shliach of Fort Lauderdale. She passed way early this morning, Erev Sukkos.

She is survived by her husband and children Mrs. Chanie Lebovics (Lauderhill, FL), Rabbi Chaim Leiberman (Lauderhill, FL), Rabbi Shmuel Lieberman (Hempstead, NY), Mrs. Estie Chanowitz (Sunrise, FL), and Mrs. Mashie Laine (Crown Heights), as well as her grandchildren.

She is also survived by her siblings Mrs. Esther Bluming (Crown Heights), Yosef Yitzchok Pewzner (Crown Heights), Mrs. Shternie Bronstein (Miami, FL), Rabbi Shmuel Pewzner (Harrisburg, PA), and Rabbi Mendel Pewzner (S. Petersburg, Russia).

A funeral service will take place outside of: Chabad of Greater Fort Lauderdale  – Synagogue of Inverrary Chabad 6700 NW 44th Street, Lauderhill, Florida 33319 on Shabbos night at 10:00pm. The internment will take place on Sunday afternoon in New York.

A second funereal will take place in Brooklyn on Sunday, September 22, 1:00pm at the Shomrei Hadas Chapels. It will pass 770 at 1:45pm.

    Shaindy was a friend at Bais Rivka and a colleague on Shlichus. She was a woman of regal bearing and fine character. She will be sorely missed. Boruch Dayan Haemes.

    Many wonderful memories as a colleague- an exemplary teacher to my sons at Hebrew Academy in Miami Beach and as a trusted and dear friend.

    My condolences to Rabbi Shmuel and Chavie on the loss of their mother and mother-in-law respectively. I am a member of Chabad at Hofstra, where Rabbi Lieberman is the lead Rabbi.

    Baruch Dayan Haemes on the Lieberman Family’s loss. Even though I did not know the Rebbetzin personally, I do know that she was a great woman because she raised Rabbi, a true role model both to me and everyone around him.

    May she rest in peace.
