With sadness we inform you of the passing of Dr. Yaakov Hanoka of Brookline MA, at the age of 75.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Rita Herman-Hanoka, and children Rabbi Chaim Hanoka (Pasadena, CA), Gitty Bronstein (Brooklyn, NY), Rabbi Yitzchok Hanoka (Brooklyn, NY, Miriam Friedman (Birmingham, AL), and Chani Pinson (Pasadena, CA).

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Rita Herman-Hanoka, and children Rabbi Chaim Hanoka (Pasadena, CA), Gitty Bronstein (Brooklyn, NY), Rabbi Yitzchok Hanoka (Brooklyn, NY, Miriam Friedman (Birmingham, AL), and Chani Pinson (Pasadena, CA).
The Levaya will take place tomorrow, Monday, leaving Shomrei Hadas at 10:00 am and passing 770 at 10:45 am.
The family will be sitting shiva at the Hanoka residence at 511 Crown st.
Shacharis will be at 7:30am and 8:15am,
Mincha at 7:45pm
Maariv at 8:50pm.

Among many other things, he was the driving force behind the first organized annual 3 day program to bring non-frum youth into CH to taste a Shabbos and see the Rebbe farbrengin. Now they are Shabbatons, at the start they were called Pegish Im Chabad
Waiting to see the book
he merited to a special relationship with the rebbe, he received many answers from the rebbe and had many he nodus with the rebbe. He was involved in the Chabad institutions in greater Boston for many years. He raised a great family kah. The family should write a book of their fathers acheivments and his life.
