Is this NYU librarian? If this is him, I knew him from NYU and later met him in crown heights, what a Kidush Hashem he was making at NYU library with the light of his Hasidish look. And how good it was to feel not along at NYU library, where I have to close up sometimes for studies and sometimes … to daven and even put on talles and teffilin. I will miss him as much as I am missing those times.
knew him for many years in Crn Hts

heartbreaking
As for comment #15 the reshaim will be payed back if not here and now but in the next world. Thet get away with to much. But they will get what they deserve. BDE
Tragedy
Referring to comment #15 what a loss the people who deserve to live a long life don’t get the chance but people who are mean and cruel and hurtful to others live to long.

My husband, Avrohom OBM, was a true Chassid of the Rebbe Shilta. He lived life to the fullest despite failing health and limited mobility. He was a man who loved his family, his community and his love of GD and Yiddishkeit knew no bounds. We raised 3 beautiful children and Avrohom was able to be with them as they establish their own homes based on Torah, Chesed and Mitzvot. He was zocher to see 6 beautiful grandchildren learn from his beautiful example. After his retirement we were looking forward to spending quality time together. But Hashem had other plans. We will be together once more when Moshiach reveals himself. Let that day be soon in coming. Avrohom, know that I loved you with all of my heart and more than life itself.
moonbeam
Referring to comment #19 Gd does have other plans, at least he was able to see nachas from his grandchildren.

Avrohom did see nachas from all his children and his grandchildren. He was zocher to watch them grow, enter yeshiva and learn from his example of chesed, ahavas yisroel and yisras shamayim. He was a man of GD, plain and simple, a loving husband father and zaidy, a kind and gentle man, and a man who loved and shared knowledge. He was loved by many, respected by all and will be missed. Especially by me. Life will never be the same without him. May his memory be a blessing.
