With great sadness and deep pain we inform you of the untimely passing of Rebbetzin Sarah Rochel Schochet of Los Angeles, California wife of the Rosh, Rabbi Ezra Schochet, at the age of 65.
Rebbetzin Schochet is survived by her husband, The Rosh, and children Rabbi Menachem Schochet (Israel), Mrs. Chana Wilhelm (S. Paul, MN), Mrs. Hadassah Spalter (Los Angeles, CA), Mrs. Yehudis Farkash (Los Angeles, CA), Rabbi Avremi Schochet (Los Angeles, CA) and Rabbi Dov Yehuda Schochet (Manchester, England).
The Levaya will take place 8:00 p.m. tonight Wednesday, February 24 at Yeshivas Ohr Elchonon Chabad, 7215 Waring Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046. The burial will be in Israel.

I remember Rebbetzin Schochet as a warm and caring lady, concerned about the welfare of the Bochurim at YOEC. May her neshama have an aliyah, may her family find comfort and may we all be zocheh to Moshiach and reunion with all of our loved ones.
