With great sadness we inform you of the tragic and untimely passing a Avrohom Wasserman OBM a Crown Heights activist and politician who worked one behalf of the neighborhood.
He is survived by his wife Devorah and children Yossi (Monsey, NY), Chesky (Crown Heights), and Daniel.
The Levaya will take place on Motzoei Shabbos and will be leaving from the Shomrei Hadaas Chaple at 8:00pm and passing by 770 at around 8:30pm, from there it will go to Israel.

A kind and gentle man. I met Avrohom many years ago at the Crown Hts Community Council. He was always ready to help a fellow yid in need. He helped me get a job. I remember when he ran for an elected position, and election day was on 9/11/01. Several people owed their lives to him. Because they voted for him in the morning, they were late getting to work at the twin towers, after the towers were hit.
