Rabbi Feld was the mohel for many of the young men in our smalland diverse Bay Area community. We are all saddened by this great man’s loss of life. Z”L

    What happened?
    He was so young?
He was a real chasid, a mohel who made even the most fry yid feel at home and never spoke about money?
    Ad masi!!

He was a childhood friend and a dear soul. Our family’s hearts go out to his family and friends.

Rabbi Feld performed the bris on our son Jacob and took the time to explain the meaning and tradition to those present in such a way so that even those who did not feel entirely at ease with circumcision gained a profound insight into the ceremony. We couldn’t have asked for a better mohel. He was warm and kind and we are saddened by his passing.

Rabbi Feld was my son’s mohel – he was caring and non-judgmental. Saddened by his death – a loss to the whole Jewish community

I hear that the late Rabbi Feld even had his own little Chabad-type yeshiva out there in Berkeley. Its really too bad he wasnt as widely known from his Mohelhood and outside of his Lubavitch circles. Oy vey!

Rabbi Feld was the mohel for my son’s bris. A few months ago my son was happy to discover that one of his friend’s bris had been done by Rabbi Feld as well. A true loss to our community, and more so to his loving family. Z”L.

Rabbi Feld performed my sons brit milah in February 2009 and we loved him. He was caring and understanding and so lively. I cant understand how a man as wonderful as him could become so ill. I will never forget him. He was great man.
