Thursday: Shloshim for R. Mendel Shemtov A”H

The family and friends of Harav Hachassid R. Menachem Mendel Shemtov A”H, will mark his Shloshim with a Farbrengen tomorrow [Thursday] evening, Or LeZayin Iyar, May 4 at 7:00 PM at Ohel Chabad Lubavitch – 226-20 Francis Lewis Boulevard.

    How is the Shloshim Or Lezayin Iyar if he passed away On Yud Gimmel Nissan? Rabbi Mendel Shemtov A"H Levaya was Erev Pesach. We Have a week to go till Pesach Sheni.

    Because of Pesach, we had only one day of Shiva which is equal to 7 days. The elevated level that the Neshama reaches through Shiva was accomplished in those few hours.

    R , Mendel obm worked like a 30 year old yungarman . his days were filled with working for the cheder.his business
    klall work .there was so much to learn from him, he was from the old school ,starting new projects from grass roots.at the end of time he brought much naches to the
    Rebba , respect for his family.and a good word to his friends. who will all miss alot .
