Released Time of Forest Hills Year End Gathering

Forest Hills, NY — With close to 150 kids enrolled in Released time in Forest Hills alone, the program has been doing wonders for it’s participants.

As there year came to an end special they brought together boys and girls from more than 10 public schools for a grand rally and photo opp.

At the gathering the children and instructors did their usual and wonderful davening and learning with the kids as well performance of mitzvot like tzedakah, tziztzit and alot more.

Each student received Pizza or Ice Cream as a year end treat. As well as participated in a grand raffle for lots of great prizes.

The Released Time program is run by the N.C.F.J.E and for more than 65 years has enrolled more than 250,000 kids during that time.

Chabad of Forest Hills, under the Directorship of Rabbi Mordechai & Sarah Hecht has this year begun to take an active role in enhancing recruitment and working with local families and students, including the coordination of this amazing and exciting event.
