Miami Students Raise the Bar for Sukkos Mivtzoim
In the merit of a speedy recovery for Emanuel ben Yenta and L.E.C. student Miriam bas Chana Tova, LEC students have pledged a Sukkos holiday of ahavas Yisroel—love for their fellow Jews. No stranger to projects of this sort, the students of Lubavitch Elementary School are taking their goal this year to the next level. Their pledge is to help at least 6,000 local residents fulfill the mitzvah of lulav and esrog and eating in a sukkah.
Last year the students helped well over 4,700 people fulfill the holiday commandments, but this year they’ve elevated their expectations a notch.
To assist them in their effort, every student in the boys department had the opportunity to purchase and receive their very own kosher lulav and esrog set at a very subsidized rate. They will use their sets to bring the excitement of the Sukkos holiday to local hospitals, nursing homes, malls, streets—practically everywhere!
To keep track of the students’ success and their progress in attaining their goal, a special web site was set up at leclulav.info. The entire community is invited to participate in this effort by posting on the web site what mitzvah campaign they did to help bring a speedy recovery to some very special and dear people.
A special Yasher Koach goes to the anonymous donor who assisted in lowering the rates for many students.
A special thank you to goes to Yosef Chaim Brook of Aspaclaria Judaica for his assistance.

hatzlocha and Refuah shleimah
Absolutely incredible! Hatzlocha Rabba and.Refuah shleimah! We should all take a page out of their book. Question is: why only one comment? When there is a “negative” story, or one laced with loshon horah, the comments come thick and fast and get more vicious as it goes on. Here is a beautiful news clip and nothing???
Amen!
Refuah Sheleimah!
