Public School Children Receive Torahs for Shavuos

In honor of Shavuos, a long time donor approached Rabbi Shazak Zirkind, Director of Released Time, to donate 17 inch Torahs which were to be distributed to the public school children who attend the Released Time Program under the auspices of NCFJE.

Today the Torahs were distributed by the tirelessly working instructors, who give of their time to ensure the evergrowing success of the program.

The instructors, immediately after finishing with the Lag B’Omer Parade, began organizing ice cream parties and readings of the Asseres Hadibros for the families of the children.
