ATTENTION PENTAX: I don’t think the point of this beautiful article was the size of the parade, but rather the mesiras nefesh and dedication these bochurim and girls have to do what the Rebbe wants.
    Moshiach NOW!

Just for the record. Before Gimmel Tammuz it was forbidden to go to this parade, in spite of the potential to put on Tefilin with thousands of Jews.

Rabbi Hodakov never allowed it. Even when there was a group of Yungelait that went weekly on a Tank to Manhattan, were not allowed to go to this parade. Every year we tried to ask again and we were told not to go.

The only thing that was allowed was to go to a street corner several blocks away by a Subway station and meet the comers and goers from and to the parade.

I don’t know who changed the rules, but many things have changed lately…

It is certainly sad to see how many of our Jewish brethren has fallen to the bait of saluting this oh so ”Jewish” state in the Middle East, which is more or less the twin of the apartheid state South Africa once was. Shame on you.
