Kinus Workshops a Five Star Experience

The numerous workshops and sessions to take place on Thursday of the upcoming Kinus Hahsluchim will occur at the Brooklyn Marriott, according to a statement released by the Kinus HaShluchim office. The day will close with a general session at the Marriott, filled with inspiration and encouragement, followed by dinner in Crown Heights.

Led by Shluchim and professionals in various fields of expertise, the workshops offer invaluable advice and assistance to the thousands of Shluhcim who attend the annual conference. The move to the Marriott and its 30,000 square feet of five star conferencing space will not only make the sessions more comfortable for Shluchim, but also help streamline scheduling, allowing Shluchim a more efficient use of their limited and precious time in Crown Heights.

This announcement is the latest of a slew to come out of the Kinus office in recent days, including the revelations of Rabbi Mendy Cohen and Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks as the keynote and guest speakers to address the Gala Banquet. Kinus Committee Chairman, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky says, “We are working night and day to produce a memorable and inspirational event. We look forward to sharing more exciting news in the future.”

Yes, they deserve luxurious accomodations, these Shluchim work hard enough and should enjoy this spiritual uplifting vacation in style and comfort. Its all part of the package for their enjoyment.

  • Chutzpah indeed

It is a Chutzpah that the Kinus cant be held in Crown Heights due to Meshugoyim who have taken over the place
It is a Chutzpah that a situation has arisen where Shluchim are terrified to bring Baalei Battim to 770
It is a Chutzpah that the Rebbe’s shul has been turned into a playground
It is a Chutzpah that some of the Rebbe’s Shluchim are ‘not allowed’ into 770
It is a Chutzpah that some people mimic the Rebbe

It is however wonderful and a tribute to the Kinus Vaad that the sessions are popular, oversubscribed and being held at a venue that is more conducive to proper workshops and discussion in a pleasant, clean and Meshugoin free environment.
