Keynote Speaker for Kinus Hashluchim Announced

The Kinus Hashluchim office has announced that Rabbi Mendy Cohen, Director of Chabad of Greater Sacramento, will deliver the keynote address at the Kinus Hashluchim Gala Banquet this year.

Cohen, along with his wife, Dinie founded Chabad of Sacramento, California in 1994. They have since opened six additional centers in the region, bringing the light of Torah and Yiddishkeit to thousands in Northern California.

Cohen will be joining Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks, who last week was announced as a guest speaker at the banquet. He will be addressing the theme of the conference, “Es geit a Chossid,” which is based on a Hayom Yom which states that in every aspect of a person’s life; whatever one is doing, it should be apparent that one is a Chossid.

For many thousands across the globe, the Kinus is the highlight of the year. Cohen’s embodiment of the theme makes him an ideal candidate to deliver this message, and inspire the army of Shluchim and lay-leaders who will be in attendance.
